Comma Slide:
-Commas are used to connect two independent clauses with a coordinating junction.
-A coordinating conjunction ex: And, but, for, or, no, so, yet.
Ex: I sliced watermelon,cucumbers, and pineapple.
Semi Colons Slide:
-Semicolons are used to connect two independent clauses with or without using a connecting word.
-Like commas, semicolons indicate a slight pause longer than commas, but not as long as a periods full stop.
Ex: I didn’t see the step; now I have a broken leg.
